Sometimes: Corneal transplantation is the surgery in which a diseased cornea (the window at the front of the eye) is removed and replaced with a donor cornea. In eyes otherwise normal, with the cornea being the only block to good vision, the procedure can be remarkably vision improving. If the eye sees poorly from something else, than this will not work.
