Hydration/Tylenol: If the baby has a runny nose and cough, please use nasal saline to remove mucus from the nasal passages. If there are no other symptoms, please see your physician. Usually there is an infection associated, and they will determine if antibiotics are needed. Most illnesses associated with cold symptoms are viral, and do not require antibiotics. If the fever persists, please see your PCP.

Pretty normal: All fever reducers seldom take more than 1 degree of elevation off the top during their period of effect. The body uses fever to help fight illness (speed heart rate, push healing factors around) it is not a bad thing & these meds benefit is to provide comfort. If the fever & other symptoms spook you have him seen, but this is pretty normal.
