Discomfort: Possibilities include inflammation of stomach lining(gastritis), peptic ulcer, abdominal or hiatal hernia. Avoid alcohol, caffeine,nicotine, aspirin,medications like ibuprofen or naproxen, fried and spicey foods and take a medication like omeprazole for 10 days or so. See your physician or a gastroenterologist if symptoms persist or worsen.
