Immediate exam!: The severe pain in your lung could be due to pneumonia or some other serious condition such as pulmonary embolism, pneumothorax or cancer. I strongly encourage you to get to an Urgent Care Center or Emergency Room as soon as possible to be evaluated. The sooner you are properly diagnosed the better your chances are for effective treatment. I wish you well with your health!
