Left lower abdominal: pain in a female can be be serious or benign but should not be assumed to be caused by a previous diagnosis of IBS without some investigation. Lack of fever is significant. Many questions need answers though such as pain with urination, bloody urine, pregnancy, diarrheal stools, blooody stools, abdominal tenderness in addition to pain. In short you need to be seen and evaluated.
