At your age...: and without any medical history attached and with no information regarding timing, trauma, location, alleviating factors, the more common causes are musculoskeletal, such as costochondritis, muscular strain but spontaneous pneumothorax (collapsed lung), and pleuritis ( inflammationof the lining of the lung) , and pericarditis (inflammation of the lining of the heart)can occur.
