Different HT systems: There are different patches, sprays, lotions, vaginal rings and even subcutaneous pellets, as well as the more traditional oral pills. The latter however have an increased, although very small, risk of blood clots. Your best choice depends on your personal circumstances and symptoms. Herbals have an extremely weak effect and will provide you with no protection from developing osteoporosis.
