Cracked root?: Pain upon biting after RCT weeks later could be a cracked root. I would recommend a 3D scan to check for cracks. Could possibly be just the periodontal ligament getting used to the RCT, which takes time to heal, which is why your dentist recommended giving it more time. But if it is still sensitive upon biting this long after the RCT, it may be a cracked root.
