Im 31. not preg. fluid behind uterus seen on trans & pelvic u/s. paraovarian cyst seen. could this type of cyst cause the fluid? type of cyst harmful?

Para-ovarian cysts: Either ovarian cysts or para-ovarian cysts will release fluid when ruptured, and one of either would produce "fluid behind the uterus", which is harmless. You may have experienced sharp pain just before getting the ultrasound which showed "fluid", which may have been the ruptured cyst which produced the liquid.

Hello, I am 28 years old. I recently had a Pelvic, Transva ultrasound. My Endometrial stripe was 2.1CM (21 mm), ovaries unremarkable, with some fluid in the cul de sac. There was atleast 2 2.1 mm cysts shown. Uterus otherwise ok. Shoud i be concerned?
