My gynae has put me on a blood pressure tablet with a prescription of hy-po-tone 500mg 3 times a day (8 hourly). i did this for a few days and my blood pressure dropped very low- i changed to taking one a day, is that okay?

Hypertension ?: "Hy-po-Tone" is methyl dopa, and is given with hypertension. If the initial dose caused your blood pressure to be too low, taking one a day may work better, but check with your physician for the appropriate dose after checking your blood pressure with the present "500 mg." dose , once a day.
