My husband was diagnosed with high blood pressure. after prescription of medicine, he's complaining of pain under neck area which radiated to rear of neck. medication was changed, but he's still having those issues. mri and glands were neg?

You don't mention which medications have been used. There are many medications for high blood pressure I would discuss it with his provider and request another change . Vascular abnormalities, unless his pressure is very high, are unusual but an MRA of the neck may note vascular abnormalities
