Bad Reputation ?: Modern endodontic therapy is a safe and effective treatment to to try and save teeth that would otherwise need extraction. There are detractors, and this forum is not the place to debate the merits of the therapy. There is a dental specialty devoted to the treatment and retreatment of these affected teeth. Avoid root canal therapy by not ignoring your teeth... see your dentist twice a year.
