Sleep pain: If this is the only time you experience such pain, this position must cause rib cage structures, including ribs, intercostal muscles or nerves or spine vertebra, to move or be impinged upon to somehow produce pain. If you're fine when you're up and about performing activities of daily living or exercise,I doubt a serious problem. If you have continuing concerns, get examined by your MD for starter
