I seemingly have a burst vein under my skin on my left calf. it looks like a bruise but its not sore at all and cant recall hurting myself. its the size of a r5.00 coin and is a deep purple colour. should i come in and have it checked out?

Bruise: This is most likely a leakage of blood from a tiny vein or capillary and should fade after a week or so. Unless you note other similar spontaneous ecchymoses, bleeding from nose or gums there should be no concern or need for an examination at this time.
