Hydration: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor. In the meantime he may take acetaminophen, not to exceed 4 grams/day. He should drink enough water every day so that his urine is mostly colorless, to ensure proper hydration.
