Difficult surgery: If he is not well , you need to check with the doctor or the hospital and see if there are any complications . There can be extra bleeding and secondary anemia a week later that needs to be addressed. That can cause the weakness. /also the narcotics for pain can make a patient feel really bad. They need to be taken only as needed and need to keep bowels moving.

Call his surgeon: Your husband may be anemic. I would suggest that you call his surgeon and share your concerns. His surgeon would want to hear about your observations.
