Aura: Migraine aura caused by vasospasm can be a forerunner of an ischemic stroke. Have you a longsanding history of this? Either way, I advise an evaluation by a neurologist or a headache clinic to ensure that you get appropriate diagnosis and treatment and interrupt this pattern of symptoms. I don't think aspirin helps to prevent the aura but may be a protection against ischemic stroke.
