Hello. i usually have a very textbook menstrual cycle since getting the copper iud a year ago however i've now been on my period for 2 solid weeks and it shows no signs of stopping ? why is this?

Body adjusting: Sounds like the system is getting used to the new regimen/device. Give it about three cycles (months). If the bleeding is still irregular, a work up (ob/gyn) would be reasonable.
