Persistent bleeding after a menstrual period, with "2 weeks of cramps" may indicated ectopic pregnancy, as an IUD works to prevent implantation within the uterus, and does not protect against tubal pregnancy (ectopic). Get a serum HCG test to be certain about pregnancy, and if positive, see your gyn provider for an exam and other testing (ultrasound).
