Im 32 years of age. using iud copper,iv had it since 2018 and iv checked it and its still in place. also just started banting diet,im on day 28. my worry now is that i have been on my periods for 11 days with clots.no infection.i take vitb pills. ?

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor, preferably a gynecologist. You should take oral iron and multivitamin to prevent anemia from blood loss. Wish you good health!

I have the nonhormone copper paragard iud. I had the Skyla prior (lowhormone, non copper iud), & had lightest periods, with 0 issues. Since the Paragard, Ive bled HARD & anxiety pms is BAD. UTIs/bursitis infections.Is my body be rejecting copper?!
