My knee still feels unstable, with sharp pain if stepping skew a year after a cycling fall. (walking and jogging is fine) what dr should i consult? x-ray and sonar after injury did not show bone or ligament injury.

Pivot shift: Studies show that sharp pain and instability while pivoting on your knee can be associated with ACL tear in addition to other collateral conditions. The best thing you can do is visit an Orthopaedic Surgeon to examine your knee, prescribe imaging, physical therapy, bracing, and advise need for arthroscopy or other procedures to basically restore your function, get you back to doing what you like
