Not at all: Serum calcium has nothing to do with dietary consumption.Most calcium in our bodies is stored in our bones;only a tiny fraction is in our blood.The blood level mostly measures if we have normal levels of parathyroid hormone,which regulates serum calcium in a narrow range necessary for nerve and muscle function.Certain meds, cancer etc. can affect it too.You need to calculate consumption from diet.
