It's possible: Anybody is at risk of getting HIV if infected fluids from an HIV-positive person enters their body. Unfortunately if this guy has HIV it could be transmitted via his blood from cut hands into your vagina. I strongly encourage you to only practice hygienic and safe sex in the future. I also suggest regular HIV testing with regular physical exams.
