Path inside cheek : See your dentist. If general dentist does not give you a clear insert see oral surgeon. Follow their instruction. It can be completely benign lesion but you want to rule out otherwise....

Rough patch: As oral tissues heal rapidly, the rule of thumb is that any lesion not fully healed in 2 weeks from onset, requires further investigation. As most physicians look past th3 oral cavity, you are probably best off seeing your Dentist. Referral to specialist Oral Pathologist, Oral Medicine Specialist, or Specialist Oral Surgeon, May be in order.
