Esmya: Esmya is "uripristal acetate" and is a progesterone receptor blocker, contraindicated in pregnancy. It has been used to reduce the size of leiomyomata uteri ("fibroids") successfully in Europe. Check with your physician to make certain this is now available and recommended in the United States.
