Will my uterus shrink after menopause, i have very painful adenomyosis which presses on my bladder.?

Yes : Once you go through menopause, defined as no period for 12 months, then your uterus will get slightly smaller and the adenomyosis will get better. If there is any confusion about the source of your pain, call your doctor !

Good chance: That you will get alot of relief after menopause. Conservative surgery for adenomyosis is often unsatisfactory. Hysterectomy coudl bea good choice if you are not ineterested in future childbearing.
