A member asked:

Why would my magnesium be 0.68mmol/l if i have healthy kidneys?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Magnesium: Your level is borderline low and should be repeated along with serum calcium level. If you're not taking diuretics, losing body fluids, have elevated calcium level,or have hyperthyroidism or if you're not taking medications like ppi's I predict your repeat magnesium level will be normal. Discuss this with your physician.
