SLE: hi, diagnosis of SLE is not base on blood test, positive DsDNA and ANA are just one out of 11 criteria for diagnosis of SLE, to diagnose SLE you need to have 4 out of 11 criteria. ANA is a non- specific test and false positive rate is high, especially in women and elderly.
