Can low dose 100mg gabapentin cause peripheral neuropathy, and if discontinued would it go away? taken for about 10 days

Unlikely: Gabapentin is a medication that helps support the nerve cell membrane. That low dose probably didn’t much improve or worsen you problem. If you have peripheral neuropathy you may need to be on a higher dose to help the symptoms
