Mitral valve prolap: Are you on medication? Do you have a cardiologist? if not get a cardiologist who can assess ( do a holter to check actual heart rate over several days and echocardiogram to assess the valve) and advise you and possibly put you on medication like b-blockers if you are having palpitations and elevated heart rate .
