I've been taken off of coreg for hbp and now on cozaar (losartan). After two weeks taking half dose of coreg and then stopping my heart is pounding making my body sway to the beat. Normal for withdrawal?
Afib,HTN controlled w/medication.Otherwise healthy no CAD,CHF,normal kidney&liver function.Physically fit. Flecainide 50 Bid,Carvedilol 12.5 Bid,Losartan 50 1x daily.Do these medications need to be monitored w/blood work, if so when and how often?
Is Benicar a more potent ARB than generic Cozaar? Losartan 100 seems much weaker than 40mg of Benicar, There is obviously a large cost difference.
Tried Losartan 100mg as an alternative to Benicar 40mg due to $. Benicar works great,Losartan does not.Is cozaar the the weakest among ARB medications?
