Neurosurgeon: This highly important and technical question is best answered only by a neurosurgeon with experience in treating csf leaks. These leaks can spontaneously occur in the presence of increased intracranial pressure. I'm unsure whether diuretic treatment alone is effective in treating csf leaks.
