Hi dr, im on warfarin since 2016, till lifetime, it is safe wont it affect my vital organs?

Warfarin : Warfarin has been used for decades ,it is relatively safe . Most side effects would have manifested by now. Monitor clotting parameters, greens/ other meds which can affect effectiveness. It is not recommended in pregnancy which is a condition at high risk for clots but there are other anti -clotting medications now available to use as you must be anti-coagulated . f/u w/ md
