Surgical RX: Treatments for urethral stricture include: Dilation – enlarging the stricture with a gradual stretching/ Urethrotomy – cutting the stricture with a laser or knife done through a scope & Open surgery – surgical removal of the stricture along with reconnection and reconstruction, possibly with grafts.
