My son dislocated his finger yesterday and it got popped back into place. it is just swollen today he slept all night what should i do?

Is it stable: As long as patient maintains range of motion and the joint is stable without deformity than nothing further needs to be done. Swelling will take 4-6 weeks to resolve and can continue up to 4 months.
