A member asked:

In my early 30's. can just hormone imbalance alone cause a small focal thickening seen on pelvic ultrasound? or does it always mean polyp?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pelvic U/S: A "small focal thickening" on pelvic U/S can mean a polyp, or more likely a small leiomyoma ("fibroid"), which is a benign growth, normally.
