Had oral surgery and been taking antibiotics for 5 days so far, today i started having diarrhea. do i have to finish meds? can they ruin my gi system?

GI symptoms: The best person to ask is the doctor who prescribed you the medication. He/she is aware of your medical and dental history and will give you the best advice. You may be able to stop the medication, or you can take OTC anti-diarrhea medication. Some antibiotics are more irritating to the GI system than others. Only your doctor should make the decision as to what to do. CALL
