I was diagnosed with adhd.i notice that 1 hour after taking adderall i feel sleepy and can take a nap.is thia normal? why is this ocurring?

Not common: That is not a conmmon rxn to adderall but if it is persistent , it is worth trying a different stimulant medication

Need adjustment: People can have a variable response to these medications. This kind of effect suggests your dose is higher than needed for the target benefit. Either move to a lower dose or a different type of med.

Uncommon: Sleepiness after Adderall is unusual. Talk to your physician.
