Why would adderall make me feel zoned out? on instant release it happens on doses as small as 5mg. on xr it happens on doses of 30-60mg. taking for hypersomnia but its actually making me more tired. why would this be? i am not add/adhd.

Adderall: This is an unusual effect of adderall but there are reports that it occurs in 4% of patients and is prescribed occasionally for adults with ADHD to help them sleep. There are other stimulants that could be used. Discuss with your prescribing physician.
