Unusual: It is unusual for a drug like tramadol, an opiod like substance, to be useful in a disorder like narcolepsy. Adderall does have anxiety as a side effect. If you are taking them together it may be an issue with mixing the effects of both medications. Please consult your sleep doctor in order to better address the issue, as well as other medications that can be used for narcolepy/cataplexy.
