Drug safety: When using a drug interaction checker it may report potential for a major interaction btwn Paxil & Buspar. That is because 2 drugs that ^ serotonin levels could lead to serotoninergic syndrome. This would be more likely to happen if the doses of the meds were high. In reality, there are some cases where Serotonergic Syndrome can occur with 1 low dose drug. Many use this combo safely.
