Don't mix.: You must never drink on any psychotropic medications. Mixing the two will enhance the side-effects of the other, i.e. Alcohol depending on the type of alcoholic drink will make the sedative effects of Paxil (paroxetine) and could depress the respiratory system.

Paxil (paroxetine) ; alcohol: Are not a good or safe combination. Alcohol can interfere with the antidepressant activity of the paxil, (paroxetine) and the combination can be more sedating than either alone.
