A member asked:

Ldl 132 hdl 97 is this ok? 2 doctors did not give me meds for it saying hdl is good and helps fight ldl.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Good: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, your results are good. You do not need medication for the apparently high HDL. Trust your doctors.
