A member asked:

What would cause chronic symptomatic hypotension requiring treatment to flip to moderately severe hypertension requiring treatment?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Multiple causes: the most common cause would be inappropriate dosing of long acting anti-hypertensive medication or thyroid/endocrine disorders. You must keep a journal and check your BP at least 3 times daily , most imprtantly upon waking and before/during sleep. Your medications must be reviewed and blood tg/esting is important.oss and salt resptriction are also important factors.
