? Long ?: A newborn will extract about 80% of what is i a breast in 5 min and 90% in 10. More than 15 min/side is just non-nutritive sucking (a pacifier) but some babies need this form of cuddling. The usual newborn feeds every 3 hrs. but may go more or less frequently based on chancing growth.
