A member asked:

Is there difference btwn sleeping 8 hrs at night and sleeping8 hours in the morning regarding skin? i heard that tissue repairing only happens at nigh

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Timing irrelevant: Sleep induces the release of hormones and other body repair mechanisms. The relevant factor is sleep, not the clock. The studies describing this process studied people with normal night time sleep habits, but shift workers who sleep during the day would have the same sleep effect.
