Call your doctor: Your doctor who prescribed it needs to know you are pregnant, and you will need to discuss whether or not you should take it during pregnancy. Right now is the time the most birth defects occur, so if you won’t need it during your pregnancy you might want to stop it. Citalopram is one of the less dangerous meds in pregnancy. Please call the prescriber for advice.
