Is it necessary to do surgery for hip impingement ?

Varies: It varies somewhat based upon both the severity of the symptoms as well as the severity of the impingement. Theoretically, the risk of untreated impingement can include the development of arthritis in the hip prematurely. Talk to an orthopedic surgical specialist in that area to discuss the risks/benefits in your specific case.
