Hi, my son is 3 year old, currently on orelox antibiotics for an earinfection. he just woke up with a bad cough, sounds like when he has croup. nebulised first with duolin and the pulmicort. is there anything else i can do??

Maybe: The medications you used are very effective for asthma but croup is caused by inflammation of the upper trachea or windpipe. If he is breathing well, continue the meds you have. If he is making a gasping noise in the throat with every breath, get urgent care. Oral steroids might be needed.
