A member asked:

Is it possible that multiple sclerosis be the how do i get a fast heartbeat?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Highly unlikely: Heart rates can be affected by only one ms med, and that is gilenya, (fingolimod) in the first 6 hrs, where the rate may slow, and later return to baseline within about 3 weeks. The disease does not affect cardiac function otherwise.
